Adacta Day 2019 Belgrade: New technologies are the basis for smart business and a bright future

The post-digital age is in front of us. In order to compete and be singled out in the post-digital age, companies need to adopt a set of new technologies that are just now emerging. These new technologies will be extremely important drivers of change in business, even in industries where digital tools are already abundant. Why is this so? The reason is that new technologies are continuously evolving and providing new opportunities for business improvement.

Last week, Adacta organized its big annual event, Adacta Day 2019: Intelligent Business, at the Hotel Hilton in Belgrade, where it introduced new technologies and all the possibilities that companies present in Serbia today incorporate into their businesses. This was just one of our 365 'intelligent' days of the year that we shared with more than 100 existing and potential clients. The day that was dedicated to the so-called intelligent business was imbuded with virtual reality, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and we showed the audience what it looks like when the digital world replaces the physical.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR THOSE WHO INVEST IN THEMSELVES AND THEIR BUSINESSES

Through the presentation entitled "The Winners of the 20s", Matjaž Fajfar - General Manager, Adacta Belgrade emphasized that new technologies are the key drivers of business. Today, we don't need to say much about what lies ahead for us, as the future has arrived with new technologies. In order to keep up with the times, companies need to consider all the possibilities of applying new technologies to their business; if they fail to do so, their competition will not. New technologies are a new development opportunity that no one can afford to miss.

Matjaž Fajfar - General Manager, Adacta Belgrade: The Winners of the 20s

"Every company will need to master a set of new technologies. The use of new technologies will certainly form the basis for market growth. However, what you need to pay special attention to is trust. Trust is a prerequisite for the benefits of new technologies and this is what will make the difference on the market.
Only those companies that invest in themselves and their talents can consider themselves winners in the time to come." - Matjaž Fajfar added.

EVERY INDUSTRY AND COMPANY MUST REDESIGN ITSELF IN THE ERA OF MODERN TECHNOLOGIES

Intelligent transformation has arrived and has made digital transformation seem like an outdated idea. However, for companies that are already in the process of digital transformation, the question arises at what stage of transformation can the "intelligent" replace the "digital".

As the company most dedicated in developing new technologies today, Microsoft has invested more than $1 billion this year in the development of artificial intelligence that will aim to solve complex tasks. Tatjana Lukić - Corporate Sales Lead for EMEA spoke on behalf of Microsoft about intelligent business transformation, new technologies and smart applications.

"In the era of modern technology, every industry and company has to redesign itself and its business. A big part of this 'intelligent' transformation is finding new ways for companies to collaborate with their existing and potential customers, as well as with their employees, how to optimize their business processes, and how to leverage their existing data. We can certainly conclude that the key to success lies in the seamless connection of business, which is supported by smart applications and new technologies." - Tatjana Lukić said in her address.

MIXED REALITY - THE PERFECT LINK BETWEEN THE PHYSICAL AND THE DIGITAL WORLD

Why do we call it mixed reality? To explain this new technology in a simple way, Marija Eremia - Mixed Reality Lead from Microsoft directed us towards two worlds: one based on atoms and the laws of physics, and the other based on bits and digital logic. These worlds have their realities: one is physical, the other is digital. It is precisely through the merging of the physical and the digital world that we come to the so-called Mixed Reality or diversified reality that allows us to experience digital content in real time.

Teams collaborating successfully across borders and time zones, moving clients to a whole new world to experience different situations, 3D visualization of interiors and machines to the smallest detail, training employees in virtual classrooms - these are just some of the situations where one can successfully apply Mixed Reality in Business.

A RAPIDLY GROWING BANK IMPROVES THE EXPERIENCE OF ITS CUSTOMERS THROUGH A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR NEEDS

Would you like your bank clerk to know what your current needs are, if you had an e-banking problem this morning or if you need help buying a new apartment? If your answer is affirmative, then the following question arises: “How can a bank learn all this and achieve it?” According to NLB Bank Belgrade officials, the key to success lies in the CRM business solution.

Just under two years of CRM implementation, more than 100 man-days spent in training employees and more than 250 users of the solution has led to NLB Bank Belgrade understanding the needs of its clients and how they feel about working with the bank.

TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATIONS CHANGE THE SOCIETY WE LIVE IN

Did you know that by using machine learning, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology and augmented reality, we can keep track of the number of children vaccinated, the number of children enrolled in kindergartens, or we can find out with one click how many first graders are already involved in sports, how many first graders speak a foreign language, and how many of them have artistic talent?

In Africa, children in improvised schools without roofs or running water use VR for a better understanding of the concepts of geometry and the functioning of the human body - that is, they apply what is called leapfrogging in the world of innovation or in other words, leaping over several technological levels in order to keep step with the world and immediately switch to the latest technology.
