Adacta's business success in Azerbaijan – Insurance companies ATA Sigorta and Baku Sigorta introduce insurance information system developed by Adacta
Ljubljana, 01.12.2011: Director of Adacta Holding, Mr. Tomaz Volk signed three significant business contracts at the end of last week in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. In addition to signing a contract on the sale of licenses and the introduction of AdInsure, the comprehensive software solution for the insurance industry, to insurance companies ATA Sigorta and Baku Sigorta, Adacta also concluded a partnership agreement on the development and implementation of IT solutions with ATA Technology (part of Ata Holding).
"Adacta decided to penetrate the market of former Soviet Union. Our IT solutions for insurance companies are simply the perfect choice for this region. I am pleased to state that this is not only my personal opinion, but is confirmed by two actual orders." said Mr. Volk.
Azerbaijan counts 9 million inhabitants. It is situated between the Black and the Caspian Sea and borders with Armenia, Georgia, Russia and Iran. The capital, Baku with 2 million inhabitants is the largest city and, at the same time, the business and commercial center of the Caspian Sea. Azerbaijan is extremely rich in energy fuels, which constantly affects its political and economic growth.
ATA Sigorta (www.atasigorta.az) and Baku Sigorta (www.bakisigorta.az) are modern property insurance companies, established in 2000. They have been using unrelated information subsystems, developed partially within the insurance companies. Due to the continued business growth, both companies have recognized the need for an integrated, verified information system, available within a particular price range and capable of supporting the general economic conditions in the country. Adacta offered the right answers and reasonable price. In addition to automation of key business processes and extensive reporting system, introduction of insurance solutions will fully support these two companies for all types of sales channels and give them the possibility of an immediate introduction of new insurance products and offerings.

The signing of these two contracts has come across the huge response in the Azerbaijani media. The event was reported by three television stations, including the first national television, which confirms the importance of concluded transactions for the economy of Azerbaijan
